The sample borer for stalk material is a sampler especially for hay, silage, straw, herbs, bushes or other stalky plant dry material where other drills quickly get tangled. The special geometry of the drill tip cuts effectively and quickly into various stalky materials.

The hay and silage sample drill takes samples from a silo or bale quickly, cleanly and easily.

Sampling with mechanical assistance from a drill or powerful cordless screwdriver allows effortless sample removal with little manual effort.

The sample drill can be used flexibly both horizontally (sampling from the side) and vertically (sampling from above).

The robust and durable tube drill is made entirely of stainless steel 1.4404/1.4034 (316L/420) or aluminum/stainless steel 1.4034 (420).

The practical ejector helps to empty the sample from the sample drill.

In agriculture, for monitoring the quality of animal feed, in field crop storage, but also for quality control of stalk material as fuel or combustible material, regular sampling must take place.

  1. Mount the sample drill to the drilling machine.
  2. Place the drill bit on the sample material and allow it to turn slowly.
  3. Accelerate the sample drill carefully and drill into the sample to the desired depth.
  4. Pull the drill out of the sample.
  5. Dismantle the collecting tube from the drilling machine.
  6. Empty the sample into a suitable collection container using the ejector.
