The extension rod is an accessory for the Bürkle Mole hand auger that allows deeper drilling depths to be reached. The rod is 1 m long and is inserted between the T-handle and the auger head. The precisely manufactured connection points prevent wobbling of the auger rod and ensure that the soil core remains securely in the sampling chamber. Even with the extension, the centering and guidance of the Mole remain reliable.
