Accessibility at Burkle

Our website has been tested for accessibility both manually and automatically. The following accessibility issues were identified in accordance with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1:

1. Buttons without accessible names or empty buttons
   Violation of WCAG 2.1 Criterion 4.1.2 “Name, Role, Value” (Level A): UI elements must have a perceivable name so that assistive technologies can correctly identify them.
2. Form elements without associated and labeled labels
   Violation of WCAG 2.1 Criterion 3.3.2 “Labels or Instructions” (Level A): Input fields require clear labels to be understandable and usable by users.
3. Links without recognizable or missing link text
   Violation of WCAG 2.1 Criterion 2.4.4 “Link Target in Context” (Level A): Link text must be meaningful and make it clear in context where the link leads.
4. iframe elements with no title attribute or an empty title attribute
   Violation of WCAG 2.1 Criterion 4.1.2 “Name, Role, Value” (Level A): Frames must have descriptive title attributes to be meaningfully named for screen readers.
5. Image without alternative text
   Violation of WCAG 2.1 Criterion 1.1.1 “Non-text Content” (Level A): Essential images require meaningful alternative text so that they can be understood by users with visual impairments.

We are aware of the significance of these barriers and are continuously working to eliminate them in order to steadily improve the accessibility of our website. The issues mentioned are currently being addressed in a prioritized process, with completion targeted for 2026.

This statement is reviewed and updated at least once a year to accurately reflect the current status of accessibility.
