Detectable SteriPlast® spoons, made of polystyrene, are produced in our class 7 clean room (10,000), individually packaged for disposable use and then sterilised by gamma rays.
The detectable spoons are available in two sizes, 2.5 ml (similar to a teaspoon) and 10 ml (similar to a tablespoon), and are ideal for sampling powders, granulates and fluids.
These samplers are not only coloured blue but also have a special additive in the material that makes them visible to metal detectors or X rays. These products can therefore be rejected with standard systems for checking for foreign objects, even though they are made of plastic.

Green PE bio-plastic has all the suitable properties of conventional polyethylene but is manufactured from renewable raw materials and can be completely recycled.

The sample spoon with long handle can be used to remove powders, granulates, pastes or liquids.
The long handle also makes it easy to reach the bottoms of larger containers or to sample drums, canisters and bottles with small opening diameters. The notches on the handle make the disposable spoon comfortable and safe to hold.

The spoon with curved spoon bowl is suitable for a wide variety of media, e.g. powders, granulates, pastes or liquids. The angled spoon shape makes it easy to reach the corners of a container. The long-handled plastic scoop allows larger containers to be emptied easily and can also reach places that are difficult to access, e.g. narrow-necked canisters.
